The Westminster Business Network brings together members of the city’s business community to engage with councillors, MPs, and policymakers on the issues that matter most to Westminster’s economic and social future. Through its programme of events and discussions, the Network provides a forum for exchanging ideas, building relationships, and informing policy.

 

Under the chairmanship of Gotz Mohindra OBE, the Network aims to strengthen the dialogue between business and decision-makers, ensuring that Westminster remains a vibrant and successful place to live, work, and invest.

Westminster Business Network members are invited to attend quarterly in-person events each year, consisting of exclusive round-table dinners and drinks receptions with councillors, senior MPs, and policymakers.

 

These occasions will provide an opportunity not only to network and exchange views but also to influence future policy discussion.

Chairman

About Gotz Mohindra OBE

Gotz Mohindra is a former Chairman of Planning at Westminster City Council and a past councillor representing St John’s Wood. In that role, he led St John’s Wood High Street’s Covid strategy, which included widening pavements, making it one-way, and promoting al fresco dining. These developments later became permanent, and in 2025, St John’s Wood High Street was ranked by Knight Frank as the second-best premium High Street in the country.

 

A former board member of the Conservative Party, he sits on the Conservative Party’s Membership Committee and its Constitutional Review Committee. He is a former chairman of the Party’s Governance and Risk Committee.

 

As Chairman of the Westminster Business Network, his role is to link members of Westminster’s diverse business community with key Conservative policy makers at all levels.

 

In recognition of his political service, he was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) for his contributions to political life in the United Kingdom.
